The first step is identifying the problem. Before you keep reading, do me a favor and YELL the quote below.

How did that feel? Are you used to saying nice things about yourself? What do you typically say to yourself on a daily basis? Most of us have this crappy internal dialogue where we belittle, doubt, overthink, and are quite frankly just mean to ourselves throughout the day. We say things to ourselves that we would NEVER say to someone else. Why? Because it would be horribly mean and cruel, and oftentimes isn't even true. Watch the video below for a new perspective on negative self talk.

Stop what you're doing right now! Well, finish reading the post first.... But grab a pen and paper. Not your iphone. This is more meaningful than just making a note in your phone that you'll never look at again. Write down 10 things you love about yourself. For the next few days read this list every morning. Bonus points for adding to it daily!

Love yourself as much as your dog loves you.
